The White Church on Winston Events Center is a small town venture with big town ideations. This is a 112 year old Historic Cornerstone of our beautiful town of Seymour, Iowa. Damaged in 2017 in a tornado, restored and then sadly, decommissioned as the Christian Church. It was then bought and converted to another denomination. Many more updates were completed. In 2020, Covid tragically took the Peacher and his son and the building was once again on the market, bringing it to its new owners, a Family hoping to give it a new purpose. Facing an uncertain future, this beautiful unique building, that sits at the entrance to our town Southlawn Cemetery now has a bright future as an Events Center, allowing it to remain vital and important in our town.
